Wateree

Went to Wateree last night and fished from 8-3am. Caught 9 crappie from 10-13.5”, 2 large perch, and a couple small cats. 1 Crappie was caught trolling in a creek in 14ft of water. The rest of the crappie were caught trolling the main channel 25-40 ft at 1.1-1.3 mph. Best color was a chartreuse curly tail grub.

Yeah definitely had fun out there spending time with my son. I’m new to crappie fishing and have learned a lot from this forum, figured i’d try to give back some.

Never tried trolling at night. My eyelids get too heavy after about 9:00 pm
