Its been some time ago but we always fished the Redbank area for crappie and whites, seemed liked the water warmed up quicker up there. Not much help but I would check with the local docks and they should be able to point you in the right direction. Good luck and let us know how you do.
Try fishing brush piles that are marked on the bank. Back out away from them and cast jigs or minnows under a slip float. Water is usually to clear to vertical jig. You can also try long line trolling.
Thanks guys I wouldn't have a clue how to fish a lake that clear.
Look for crib signs ont the bank. Purcahase a map and it will tell you where they are. Thje corp installed new cribs in entire lake during the winter. Some signs have been removed by locals so non-locals cant find them. Best strategy is to be extermely quite when approaching areas and use clear line or green mono.Almost every bay has brush piles in it. Another tip infinding where the brush is to look on shore for cut down trees( ther stumps remain) and almost directly out from there you will find the brush. good luck and let me know how you did.Quote:
