Toledo Bend
Well made a trip to the bend with dad to meet up with Deacon and their crew that go every year. Fished Thursday afternoon but only managed to catch some decent bream but
nutes and then they shut it off!!! Caught 12 good ones before they did! Fished Saturday morning but the lightening storm had shut them down but dad did manage to catch 3. Still looks like y’all had a good time. I would love to fish Toledo Bend one day. I’ve never been there. It’s nice you spend time with your Dad.

I got a report from further down the lake from a buddy. They caught 42 nice slabs on shiners on a two week old brush pile. I was hoping to stay with him on Friday night near Leesville, but he's heading to Houma for the weekend. Tough luck.
