What a crappie day.
Got to the greatest show on earth ( below the dam) about daylight and the crappie were going to town! Caught them spider rigging and with jigs and they all were good size.
Got out of there around 7:30 and went and cleaned fish and gave them to my mother who lives in Warsaw.
Decided to go on Truman this afternoon and see if I could find some spawning crappie and found some nice females around 8 ft off the bank and 3 ft down but they were extremely spotting and couldn't find any males on the bank???
Seems like the crappie are at all depths, caught some in 14 fow and right on the bottom, going to be glad when this lake straightens out.
Ended up having four crappie over 13 inches all off the bank with a road runner head.

I was pulling up to the dock on the way out and seen a game warden, Warsaw police and a state trooper standing at the top of the ramp. I was glad I had all my ducks in a row. :biggrin
They just watched me pull my boat out, no checks or anything.
