Go to the lake Monroe website. I haven't been there in 20 years, but know there are about 8 great launch ramps on the lake and with the water 10 feet above summer pool, there should be plenty of water up on the banks and into the brush. If you really like underwater timber and brush, launch at the Pine Grove ramp and just start fishing. Good luck.
I agree that there are lots of trees up at the Pine Grove area. At normal pool you pretty much have to follow the channel. Also there are lots of trees in the Ramp Creek area. Been stuck on top of a few there. I usually use the Moore's Creek SRA launch ramp. Lots of parking with a set of vault restrooms.Moore's Creek ramp would be the closest for the Ramp Creek area. I've only fished Monroe for the last year. I know there are people with a lot more experience than I have.
Thanks appreciate it

Only place I am not sure of you can Launch is Allen’s Creek ramp and if Monroe goes maybe couple more up, Pine Grove ramp as they both had roads flooded to ramps, but last week Pine Grove was open. All other ramps are usable. Cutright has high water ramp open but not the main one. Cover? So much cover flooded to fish as lake is 10.7 ft high and tons of trees and buckbrush anywhere you go. Kinda makes it a search and destroy type fishing and maybe scattered fishing. I also found schools of crappie on both, sides at entry to Saddle Creek in submerged trees in 25’ of water. So finding fish can be done using electronics. I didn’t fish main lake the 2 days I scouted and fished alittle here and there and water temps 2 weekends ago were 52 so might be alittle higher with 2 inches of rain we just got. If you get into small schools of fish don’t waist your time and go find fish somewhere else.
