Living Rubber Jigs

Well here are my first ones. This stuff is fun to play with!

Lots of new possibilities for me now.

Nice ones Dave....for a change of pace, cut some rubber a little shorter than what you have with about 4 or 5 strands sticking out from the center that are about 1/2 to 3/4 inch longer.

I will do that. I’m also wanting to tie some like jiganomics with just the 2 long pieces. I wonder if there is a preference or better style? Probably like everything else somedays one way the other the next.

I call this pattern the "Automatic";

Thanks Skip. Fun to play with and I'm enjoying this tying. Possibilities are endless! Not as beautiful as yours but I think will catch fish. Sitting here at work and all I'm thinking about is tying jigs and wanting to go fish. :Rofl

All these ties look great. I tie some rubber too, with different levels of getting it to do what I want. On small jigs I tend to underload (is that a word?) the rubber and maybe add some short fuzzy sections in a v from a hackle feather to bulk up the body some. Just some food for thought, I’ll try to tie one and post a pic. The rubber legs have put lots of fish in the live well for me.
