i broke a SEAR pin on my TM last summer in Venice LA. Did not have any with me. Had to buy a roll pin at hardware store. Its worth making sure you have some in the truck at least, along with the tools to replace .
You must put in at Nivens. There's always around 100' of mono hanging off the end of the dock.
We went a couple of weeks earlier this year. Obvious too because we only saw a couple of gators each day. Fishing was a bit slower too, but we caught plentyQuote:

We were standing around outside the condos after fishing and one of my buds pulled his prop to check so I'm thinking it had been a while since I checked mine. I borrowed his wrench and pulled mine off. Good thing I did, a little longer and it might have gotten into the seal.
