Fought the cold and wind..

Well me and my fishing buddy decided we were over this stupid weather and we were going today regardless...so at 28° with 13 mph winds, off we went. Was rough, no boat (kayak) control..not even with the grapnel anchors opened. We did manage to boat 1 each and he had an additional BG. Fished morning and evening and 3 fish between us but we got out..

Water temp was 48 at 0800, 50 by 1030. Females got eggs. I'd say when the weather decides to cooperate itll be on.

Side bar: At academy yesterday, my 3 year old decided I couldnt leave with out a pack of curly tail grubs she had picked out. I dont generally use curly tails but they was a dollar and made her happy. Well, I made a promise to her I'd use her jigs first, lo and behold, the lone fish I caught, was caught on her jig. May have to have her pick my jigs out from now on! Lol

I admire your fortitude, I couldn't do that at this point in life.
Seems to me you are a fine fisherman and an as yet unmet friend.
