I use the number 4 size almost exclusively. They are a great crappie bait.

I've got around 120 Flicker Shad crankbaits in sizes 4,5,6,& 7 and catch crappie on all of 'em. They are my favorite crankbait, especially post-spawn. Of all the flicker shads I've bought, just one of them didn't track well out of the package.
Good luck & have fun! I hope you do as well with yours as mine work for me.

We too run all sizes of the Flicker Shad baits and do well with them. We also do well on the Bandit 300 baits and I haven’t seen anyone mention yet that Bass Pro has them on sale for $4.49 each on almost all of the colors. Just put in a large order of our favorites yesterday.
Good Luck
Rich
They’re one of my favorite lures and I’ve got a couple hundred Flicker Shads in sizes 5,6,7 & 9. Size 5 and 7’s get the most use, but the larger profile 9’s can draw big bites in the warm summer months. They have a very tight action that can be deadly during certain times of the year. Mills Fleet Farm and Scheels both have their own exclusive colors and run $3.99 sales throughout the year for single lures and $10.99 for some of their 3/packs.
Sounds like I did good buying them. I normal throw Bandits or Normans. Can't wait to try them next weekend in a tournament. Thanks for the confidence in them guys!
This is my go to lure. I've caught Drum, Bass, Catfish, Crappie (of course), Bluegill, oh heck, I've caught everything on them since I discovered them around 4 years ago. I caught my PB largemouth last year (5.25lb) casting to shore. If I can't catch anything on them, it's time to go home. I even caught a big honkin' Snapping Turtle 2 years ago, but he was snagged in the paw, so I had to let him go:Rofl. Not that he was coming in the boat.

I second that. They'll even catch you if your not careful. Razor sharp hooks. Attachment 337037

I have several. They produce. However, the problem I have with this is tracking. Rare that you will get one that tracks true right out of the box. Then it's a hassle to get it to run straight. I think it's because they are so slim and flat sided, but I'm not sure.
