Good catfish day for me.
Bundled up and headed to the river. Bite was slow. Hubby caught a drum on the boat ramp while waiting for me to park truck and trailer. First place we stopped hubby got 3 small catfish and 1 small drum. Me nothing. A couple more stops and my luck changed for 39 minutes. Caught 2-6 1/2 lb channel cats and 1-5 1/2 channel cat. All in 1 spot in 39 minutes. Then that was it. Nothing more caught by either of us. Hubby turned his fish loose because he said they were embarrassing to keep. Lol. Water temp was 43. Up 3 from last weekend. Wind was cold. Guess what is for dinner today. Attachment 336105
