Chickamauga Lake report 3-23-19. My best day in a while.
Loaded up and arrived at the ramp about 9:30, and set out on my quest. With no particular plan in mind I headed out. Started out shallow in a large spawning area. Didn't see anything going on under the surface. Deployed the Ulterra and set up my spider rigs. Started trolling along around points and transitions to deeper water. Easing along in 13-15' fow, following the contour, lines down 8-12', minnows was the offering today. I hooked up with a couple of 13" fish, caught probably 20-25, 12 of which were keepers. Need something to put in the freezer. Water temp was 53, winds light out if the North. The water is still on the murkier side. Was a beautiful day to just do nothing... Oh yeah, stopped to check out some land locked critters as well.
