Desperate

New to fishing here, used to shallow La. water.
I have a new boat, and my grandson all this week. We have been out three times, spider rigging, no fish. Twice in the Village, once out of Cedar Fourche on Ouachita. Any suggestions on where to put in? The lake is a little intimidating. I heard Nimrod would be more what I'm used to, but I don't have a clue where to go there.
Help to put this kid on some fish would be appreciated

I haven't fished Ouachita much but if I was going to be spider rigging I would be fishing the western end, the water is a little more stained on that end. But you could drive over to Lake Greeson and try there. Greeson has brush piles you can find if you have a depth finder. Good luck.
