Update on Lake Austin

Water temp back up to 58-62 degrees. We hit 10 brushpiles, 2 creeks, 3 fishy looking spawning grounds. Fished with minnow under corks, jigs under corks, jig and minnows under corks, and all of the preceding without corks. This is the best crappie we could find.

I’ve caught way too many of those kind of crappie myself

That often makes me wonder why bass boys don't use crappie jigs.....
