I saw that this morning....I was about to post it just now and saw your post....guy was bass fishing.... I think it said 3.3 #.....now, back to fixin my cornbread....

Growing up in BR, we hit False River a lot for bream and bass... There was grass along the banks and in the flats at each end.
But, for Sac a Lait we went to Old River... I don't recall anyone catching them in False River regularly...

They grew em big in false river. Might a been heresay though. Pretty sure they still got some in there

Years ago we caught 2 pounders there all the time....
