Where would be a good starting point for a 1st trip to the Hill?
Thinking about making the drive, but I know nothing of the lake.

Germany Creek is a good place to start and fish the creeks near there.. Caught some real good fish in there before the front came through last week. Don't be afraid to get shallow. I caught a 1#13oz crappie in less than 5 fow at Oconee Wednesday.

Be careful, lots of big floating trash in the lake.
