Chickamauga Lake report...3-10-19
Deb and I fished on a sunny Sunday afternoon with warm temperatures. I wish the water was as nice as it was muddy with debris and water temperatures 49-51 degrees. Current flow back up to 172,000 cfs. We covered a fair amount of water to check some favorite spots and a few crappie showing up but still scattered. It's been hard to get excited about fishing with all of the cold muddy water all year but the bite should be improving soon. We caught 12 crappie...3 drum...1 yellow perch...and 1 yellow bass on a variety of jigs on flats and points. Most of the crappie were in the 9-10 inch range with the largest a little over 13 inches. All were released.
