Well all I can say is boats, boats and more boats. 2 bass tournaments going out of sugar creek and lots of folks taking advantage of the weather. We ended up with 17 really nice fish. Beautiful weather and great time with old friend laughing.

Sounds like a great trip.. Bass tournements can fill up a public ramp. Be nice if there was a site letting people know ahead of time which ramps will be hosting tournaments so everyone will not show up at the same time or at the same ramp.

I know what you mean. I had to park in the ditch on the side of the road there at Sugar Creek Marina. 138 boats in their tournament alone not counting the public ramp across the bridge that was full. Wife got sea sick the water was so rough. Between the wind and the drag races to the ramp for weigh in it was hard to keep my poles untangled lol. Fished 3 hours and managed a handful so the day wasn't a complete waste.
That's one reason I let the tournaments have the weekends and I
go during the week. Of course I'm retired and live within ten miles of both Oconee and Sinclair so I'm able to make several quick trips during the week.

On Saturdays on Oconee with tournaments, I just go past Sugar to Swords and put in.
