Henderson....2/27....Recap...Birthday Trip....
I knew it would not be the best day to go fishing, but, lets go try to sink a cork.....After picking up shiners at Dickies, I made a stop at my favorite breakfast hangout.....

The parking lot at the launch was completely empty.....that should be a clue....5 guys came up with dogs to go run rabbits....I thought where in the world is there any dry land with all this high water....

I visited this fishy looking spot.....nada.....but sure is pretty....

Around mid morning the sprinkle I was expecting rolled in....I was not near the bridge so I had to pick up run fast to beat the heavy part.....I10 bridge makes for a good umbrella....didn't like the thunder & lightening tho....

All of this for one fish....oh well, some wise person said "it's really not fish that we fishermen are after".....

Got home during a break in the showers around 2:30 to a surprise.....my good friend "Spike" had brought me a birthday cake while I was gone....
