I went to Sugar Creek as well, got there at daybreak. I wasn't sure which boat was yours; I meant to message you last night, but when I remembered it was too late. We may have exchanged greetings anyway, I was being chatty.
I kept only fatties over 11 inches, and I think I have about a dozen, but I just got home and need to have some supper. Also on CB sliders, I think mine are black/chart. Not sure where my jigs were, but I was running 2 1/16 or a 1/32 and a 1/16 at 0.8 MPH, and released at least 10 small ones, and a few white bass. In hindsight, I think I was too shallow, but hey, this was only the second time to Oconee for me. The creek was full of fish on sonar down near the bottom like RJR said.
I was in the camo xpress boat. I generally don't put in till after the early rush. I don't live but ten miles from ramp. I believe the full moon in March will be hot all the way into first of April.

Great report!!! I was there also on Wed and fished about one hour with only two for my efforts. I left there and stopped at salem campground and fished the creek channel 20 to 25 feet pulling double 1/16 and 1/8 and 1/16 oz jigs. I caught 22 decent fish.
