As we started to fish yesterday I turned my 1199 on and it cot off immediately.Tried it again same thing.I held power button in and bird came on then screen turned white as I let off button it cut off again.Will not come on and stay. Anyone got any ideas?
My 998c did that on me. It was in the wiring connection. Hope that's all yours is. Good luck!
Like Dawgg said take it loose from the connector and hook it straight up and see what it does. Might not be making a good connection.

Fixed it,took both connection apart and re-connected,took longer to remove dash plate then fix it.Thanks for the suggestions.
