Henderson Swamp/Lake need Begnaud Bay info
Moved to Youngsville 2 yrs ago and fished Henderson last year for the first time (9 trips mostly on the north side). Need info on getting into Begnaud Bay. Read some post saying go though cut with tree canopy to get in there. Where is the cut located and what waterway (area) do you take to get to cut / Begnaud Bay intrance? Also what is the lowest Lake Pelba gage level that you still can get through the cut into Begnaud Bay? My boat is a Hanko's custom all welded 17 ft with 66" flat bottom 60 hp Honda ob. THANKS learned a lot about the fishing in this area with CDC forum and glad to be a member.
After looking at map again ----> Is it the cut located on south end of Bayou Loin?
