Any body hearing anything on the bite at the Santee lakes. Any info will be appreciated,jig types,colors, area's of the lakes that are hot know. We will be down for a week starting next Wed for our yearly trip. THANKS up front for any Help.

you are asking a good question, but most may not answer because of Crappie USA, coming in March, but Lake Moultrie-- have been catching crappie @ blacks fish camp and Angels Landing out in front of these areas in deeper water, they should be moving shallow by now. Lake Marion, haven't talk to anyone myself but if I was going I'd try taw taw creek, and Potato creeks, Colors are fisher mans choice but anything with blue, black, white, pink, Charituse (sp) should work if water's not to muddy. Just do what you do @ your home lake and you should be fine.

THANKS so much STUMPJUMPER we had a great trip, 2 of our group even snuck off and drew a check from FTC for big fish and 4th place SAT. And all the bass were released and all the Crappie over 2 pounds were released also,What a great fishery .
Another great trip, you guys always ask for help, but as you always show, a big box of beauties gets a ride home. Congrats to all!
