nightstalking @ crappie camp?

Just a FYI, there will be a new moon monday/tuesday, and I wasn't sure, but curious if anyone was gonna try any nightstalking at crappie camp on greeson. I will bring my lights in case, but with everything else that I'm bringing, I thought I would see if anyone else is gonna be interested in any of this. I haven't been successful at nightstalking, even though I've got 2 sets of lights. I have always wanted to get into the nitestalk, and came in feb. to the Conway nitestalk. We didn't do any good, other than the fellowship & burgers courtesy of Gooch. Just curious if anyone else was aware.

Randy I'll be there Friday night through Sunday Night and would like to try a nightstalk. I've never done it but have wanted to try it.

I don't think this will be the weekend for a successful nightstalk. Friday night will most likely be rained out. Saturday night will be extremely cold with the wind blowing on the lake.

With that being said....and considering that I'm in the diehard club, I will probably nightstalk Friday night in the rain (unless it is lightning). I'll most likely socialize on Sat night. Were you guys wanting to all get together in one of the coves or spread out for a nightstalk? If so, we need to coordinate a time to leave the ramp.

From what Gooch has told me, it seems like he will be running some jugs down by Bear Creek campground. Some may be more interested in that...

Running jugs sounds fun too, socializing sounds fun too, whatever everyone wants to do, I game.

I was actually talking more of sunday nite & monday. I'm not going to be able to get down to greeson until saturday afternoon. Hopefully in time for the fish fry....., ha ha!!

Actually I might be up for Saturday night depending on if we go to Oaklawn Saturday....:D

I agree with CEB in the night bite might be off with the fish in the skinny water but I am game for a trip. Planning on bringing a few lights and an extra battery just in case we do a nightstalk. I also thought I we could run some jugs with the chem lights on Saturday night as we all can sit around the camp fire and watch them.
