Been a long time coming

Finally, was able to put together a trip with a old work friend "Phil" that hasn't been in the boat since 2014:yikes (he opts to golf most weekends). Took him to the best bite I know going & Jesup didn't disappoint. Caught plenty & threw back a ton of females ready to spawn...the males dominating last month & the females in force today signals the "hot" bite might not be much longer...was enjoyable watching Phil in action this morning, he took back up to cast & retrieve as if riding a bike...a few pics of the morning...

Nice Jeff, always good to get the refresher. You were on the bigger fish that we looked for today. I knew the wind was going to get up so we hid in the backcountry. And I know just what to do with that pot of fillets.
