barnett 2/13/19
got on water about 1:30 and fished till 5. Caught 16 fish with only one throwback. Had valentines dinner with wife, so i made a nice couple of folks day who were fishing near me but not catching much. They were all smiles with the fish. Asked for my usual $4.00 worth of minnows at Tommy's Trading Post and the jerk literally counted out 32 minnows. Never had that there before. Wished there was some competition. I dont expect 100 but i do expect the standard appreciation for the fisherman that trade there. I will give this a pass this time. Fish 10-12 ft down in 18-20fow. Had one pig.

Not that i know of. There is another bait shop at the dam of the Rez. they are iffy as far as size and health.
When i fished Grenada for the first time i was shocked at the by the pound thing, but at least it’s consistent and you get what you pay for.
Tommy’s has had tremendous employee turnover recently. There were several of us getting Minnows. Not the only one unhappy.

I know it seems to be strange to you folks from up north but they typically would be 50 to 60. That is how it has been at any bait shop in central ms for as long as i can remember. No point in buying 100 if you don’t need them. It’s a principal thing. And the size is all over fhevplacev
