How is it that the TVA is saying the water levels are at winter pool (354) when the river is over the banks? I've been following this for about a week now and no changes in their postings. Haven't been out to KY but I'm sure the water is high there also.
They've been pretty much dumping everything coming in to Barkley and KY Lakes straight thru to the Cumberland and Tenn Rivers. Miss River is going to major flood stage.
Barkley showed 354.6 and Ky 354.7 this AM.
The Mississippi River is out of its banks and at the base of the levee below Hickman. A lot of water is flowing down the old muddy river.
Was up at Paris Landing Marina about noon. The guage there was showing about 8" above winter pool.
