Think I'm going to give this a try, maybe with a couple of modifications to give it more of a 360 capability.

I bought the hardware to make one for myself today. I did change the design by adding a 2' piece of 2" pvc pipe to make it capable of being able to rotate 360 degrees. The cabling will go inside the 1 1/2 " pipe, the 1 1/2" pipe will go inside the 2" pipe, which will have the magnet attached to it. Then the1 1/2" pipe can be rotated to allow me to look into other directions.Quote:
