Amazing work! Great video!
Labor intensive for sure! Seems your dad instilled the same things mine did in me. He always use to say any job worth doing is worth doing well! That is how I do most everything I do. Pride is definitely part of the work too and I spent a lot of time in the beginning and there were no videos of how to tie a jig on YouTube, heck I don’t know if YouTube was here yet, lol! I learned from guys that tie flies and their lessons also helped me learn the language which is different. I learned the hard way and would not give that up for anything or any easy way to learn!

Very interesting video indeed. I can totally relate to what it takes to hand make a project such as you demonstrate... done with such craftsmanship, pride and care. Myself, I love to do drawings and paintings and I guess because of my OCD with craftsmanship, pride and care it can sometimes take me much time to do a drawing or painting... but oh what a great feeling it is to get the job done... and be happy with the outcome.
Thanks for sharing your creative process with the rest of us.
I must admit with the changing of time, I see our O'l passing skills becoming more archived
I also was brought up in that era where pride and craftsmanship had a different meaning from what it seems today
Seems production corporate greed has changed our values and left out self pride (Note: there are exceptions)
understanding we live in this spectrum of different views of criticism good and bad leaves one in question of our
offsprings outcome
Like time, the older you get these views change,
then left only to share what we have learned
Excellent Work :ThumbsUp
