Caught a few today at South Holston Lake. I was drop shotting trout magnets and bobby garlands from the bank. I caught 20 with only 6 being keepers and my dad caught 8 with 4 being keepers. It was nice to get out and fish. I haven’t fished since before my 2nd little one came around and that was all the way back in September.

Not bad! When my kids were little it was nice to do some successful shore fishing were I didn't have to drag the boat out and take care of it after.

Nope... I used a light action St. Croix trout series on these... JDM rod is just now leaving airport in Japan... I can’t wait... I’m getting excited for sure... just need this weather to cooperate now...
Agree on we need a weather change. I was at the upper end yesterday water heavy stained. Don’t look good for the next week or so either. Anyway, glad you and your dad got a few still great memories.
