Thanks everyone. I am from southeast Louisiana where we call them sac-a-lait !! I have been beating the bank with shiners or jigs about 20 inches below a cork for most of my life. I have been interested in trolling/spider rig fishing for a while now and after meeting a guy (Brad) yesterday trolling in a bayou I always fish, I am finally convinced. It was him who recommended this website to me, saying there’s always good used equipment for sale. I can honestly say the I love these fish. Love to eat them, love to catch them, love their finicky nature. I hope to bring something to the “table” here and welcome any advice for newcomer to the art of trolling.
