Decided to try a new area this afternoon and put in at Crabtree around 3PM.
Fished every brush pile in the vicinity from 20-35ft, did not catch anything until almost 5, two keepers and one short.
Anyone else catching, or not catching?

Beautiful picture. A friend of mine fished Stockton yesterday not even a bite couldn't even find them on the graph.
been slow for 4 weeks or so, Or so I have heard, I have not been in several weeks, fish seemed to have moved to parts unknown to the people I talk to, was at the dock yesterday to check on the boat and talked to 3 guys, one guy have 3 after an all day outing, been rough, but hey It Will Get Better I Promise.
I enjoyed the day yesterday even though the fish didn't bite. I was trying to figure out were the walleye hang out this time of year without any luck. We did catch one nice largemouth but that was it.
From what I've seen, one of the better techniques for walleyes this time of year is a spoon or jigging rap over deep water, underneath shad schools. Will catch a lot of whites and crappie as well.Quote:
