Pulled for stripers early down the lake. Wind got to blowing went back up to mouth of Crane tried some more. No luck . Went back in Crane tried pulling for crappie. Marking a lot of fish Between the wind and rain and all the trash floating we just came back in.
Main lake was real trashy and water temp. 47 to 50

I stayed around goat island from 8am til 11am and didn't do much good either. Fished several spots in various depths from 3 to 14ft, casting and vertical jigging. Birds were working overtime, marked a bunch of bait and what appeared to be crappie/perch. Guess I ran out of talent... Once the water clears up I think I'll go out there and just stare at it, been so long I forgot what it looks like.Quote:
