I currently have a 1197c SI at console and helix 7 G2 at bow. Just bought a Helix 12 Mega DI to put at console and a Helix 7 G3 Mega DI to put at bow. Do I keep the 1197 at bow with the Helix 12 to have the 1197 for SI as the 12 only is mega DI. Thanks
I would keep it ... you aren't going to get much for it if you sell it. You could dedicate it to mapping and free up space on the other unit as well.
I think I would have bought the mega SI for the console and you would be able to do mega SI and/or mega DI with it.
If I did not want to upgrade to G3 up front then I would have but $$$$ was a little tight
