saw a few reports of 5-15 fish being caught in a couple hours over the last few days. have not been myself. mostly straight minnows

Is upper blue open for fishing during duck season ?
Never fished it, just lower blue basin 3 or 4 times.
Upper or lower blue better, time of year???

Caught 5 in about 2 1/2 hours Saturday morning, went back Saturday afternoon and caught 5 more in another 2 hours. Lots of boats on the south end. Spider rigging minnows is the only way I fish until closer to the spawn. I heard reports of a few fishing up north but I leave that area to the duck chasers.

I’d bet there were more fisherman than duck hunters there yesterday.
