Where to find Crappie on Lake Norman?

Trying to locate Crappie on Lake Norman. We live in the Westport side of Lake Norman. about 4 miles from Beattys Ford Access Area
Unity Church Rd. | Denver, NC .

I am thinking this side (where I live ) there are not many Crappie. A ton of white perch. The area I am in is great for Bass, Hybrid, White Perch & Catfish.

In fact Bass (spots) & Hybrid were good today.


I do not have a trailer, but the boat is in the water. My guess is to try to go under Slanting Bridge road & fish the bridge( close to Bennington Boat Dealer) that goes over 150 and beyond.

Does anyone have any suggestion of an area where I could search ? This is for the Spring March & April coming up?

Go out on the main lake and up towards the hot hole, fish piers and docks near deep water, also look for baitfish. There is some good fishing in that area.
