I got a birthday coming up maybe I can get a nice rod to match it. Any suggestions? I need an 8 or 9 foot jig rod with light/medium action.:scratchhead

I have a Southern Crappie 9 footer I really enjoy using. Nice and lightweight, great for those smaller jigs (1/32 and 1/64).
It would complement that reel well, with some 6 lb. hi viz Vicious and a black emerald slab tail.;.)
