'twas the week before Christmas with waves on the Gulf
not a fish was heard swimming we all would hang tough.
From first cast to last the group would fare well
this Salty adventure generating stories to tell.
The 4 pack of elvers all fashioned by me
with Slab, the star, the top of our tree.
Come Victor and Eileen and Skeetbum now checked
and Santa's assigner I'm called up2speck.
Our bounty was cleaned at rampside, no deal
then escorted to restaurant for our custom-cooked meal.
The banter was cordial all days have their ends
the memories created all made with our friends.
To say this event went great would unfairly not state
the overall value of Santa's elves finished first date.
Now ending this saga and poem to boot
the assessment unanimous "this was a real hoot"!!

I was waiting for this. I got lots of pics I can post. But U2s has more pics too, I know that for sure. Anyway, once I get caught up, I'll post my story. One word for this trip, EPIC! And another word (OK two words) to think about for changing someones user name to, "The Director".

Was a really memorable day. Started out with a surprise visit from some folks from Scranton PA. We were told to go meet them and it turns out to be slab and skeetbum.We never knew there would be others coming to fish, total surprise. After that happened all kinds of surprises all day long. Up2specks really planned a fun day for all, including the fish dinner at the end. We cleaned our fish and up2 brought several other species of fish that we took to a restaurant and all were cooked for us in 3 different ways, fried, broiled, blackened. I know this is getting very long so I will end now with a few pictures. Thanks up2 , Doug for such a great day and we hope you have a very Merry Christmas. By

Very cool... Hope to meet a few of you guys while we are down for the month of February, Miss Vickie and I will be staying at the Acosta Creek Marina and plan on fishing the river (lake geroge), c (Slabvrescent and perhaps the Harris Chain during our stay, we are also bringing some Indiana venison just in case there is a small get together (Slab) while we are there.
Remember: "Only a jerk don't jerk"
