Finally made it out to Jordan since the ramps were closed due to all the rain mid November. Fished about three hours and caught 5 nice crappie and one decent large mouth bass 4.5 lbs.
Fish caught right off the bottom at 25-32 ft.
We've been fishing Harris the last three weeks... pulling 5-6 nice fish a day...but not really finding the fish schooled up thick.

Great to see a Jordan report. The lake had gotten down to about 3' above normal, but this morning back to 6' above normal pool. With this weekends rain, may push it even higher. Looks like you are catching the fish at their normal December depth. Should be good fishing for a couple of months.
I was guessing the lake would start back up with the melting snowfall. They may have also cut back releases before this upcoming rainfall to decrease the chances of flooding downstream. As wet as the ground is and with the trees being dormant and not sucking up water it'll take a while to get flows coming into the lake back down if we get as much rain as they are forecasting.Quote:

Plenty of water in Falls lake too. About 2 feet over full pool and rising.
I like a full lake, but a little stability would be nice.
3 weeks ago I fished in a rainstorm. 2 weeks ago I fished ina windstorm. Last week was winter. Now we're back to raining cats and dogs. Good old El Nino....

Just checked and Jordan is close to 227, eleven feet above normal. With no more heavy rains, maybe it will be back down to normal by New Years.
