Fished from 1- till dark . No wind and pretty calm . Caught many but not as big as usual. Water was 51 degrees. A lot timber floating in the channel so be careful if you’re out. I was surprised that the water was clearer and not muddy . But that may change this weekend . This hi pressure system is no doubt in full swing you had to play with your jig more to get a bite. Fishing in 12 foot one jig tight line , and 4 foot with a cork/roadrunner. I guess I’ll make some more cane condos since it’s going to be raining. Be safe and like to wish my father Wayne Thomas Sr. a happy 81 th birthday( a lot of you know him around Decatur) He’s the best father the lord made and I’m very fortunate he’s mine !

Thanks for the report and especially the warning. Sounds like we got a lot in common on the way we fish. I normally cast my way in and jig my way out of structure. I'd be interested in seeing your cane condo. I normally pour lead when weather gets sour.
