Back in Michigan.

Just made it back with only a few problems. Left at 3:30 am our time and made it 2 hours before pulling into a Walmart and taking a 45 minute nap. From there it was smooth sailing and I decided to pull off in Caruthersville, Missouri and hit Grizzly Jig. It's not a real big store but they have a ton of stuff. Good prices, too. I was able to get a tip section for the Crappie Wizard rod I broke which surprised me. Had to drive a cou[le blocks and see the Mississippi River while I was there.

When I got just south of Rend Lake it started to rain and the temp kept dropping as I went north, from 42 to 32 in about an hour and the rain turned to snow. Drove snow all the way to Indy where I got stuck in rush hour traffic. Not fun. To top it off, something I ate didn't agree with me and I had to stop at several rest stops to deal with the problem. Not fun when you're stuck in bumper to bumper traffic. After Indy I had dry roads and lighter traffic and no other issues. 18 1/2 hours to get home and I am going to sleep good tonight.

It what time will you wake up??????

4am? Better yet, how long will Knucklehead let you sleep???????

Time to make the coffee! Then I need to go get Knucklehead from my daughters house. Man, I feel like I've been beaten and rolled down a hill and then kicked a few times. Was it worth the pain? Yeah, I think so.
