Lake Charles

Anyone here fish there much? May be free Saturday afternoon and wind looks to be rough for big lakes as of now. Wasn’t sure if trolling is an option up there? If so are there minnows available or do I need to get in Jonesboro? Actually never been on the lake and just curious if it d be worth the trip from Jonesboro with a SW wind. My Thought is I might can hide from wind better there than hogue. Any thoughts?

Charles is plenty open. Might have to cross a bit of rough seas to get to a calm area.
