J.T. you really did good for this change in weather. Did you catch them deeper, and how much did the water temp change.
No doubt, didnt even think about going because of temperture change. Caught 9 keepers Monday but havent been since. Where and how did you catch them? thanks Buddy!
Wednesday was slow for me. Today Most of the fish were suspened down 15'-20' in 25' of water towards the back of wind blown coves with trees. All of them were caught on Shineee Hineees. Most were females also.
Hey I saw that on the weather last night, aint that something! but this will also pass. looking foreward to your crappie camp next month. I am sure it will be awesome for everyone.
Here is the picture from yesterday. The one in the middle was nearly 2 lbs!Quote:

Nice mess J.T. , My hats off to you in these conditions, watch the glare. I'm still trying to put 15 in the boat, keepers that is, I still cannot catch more than 1 or 2 on jigs. Most have come on minnows in 12 ft. of water about 4 to 6 feet down. But by the time this weather is over I"ll bet I don"t even have that. By the way thanks for the info buddy.
Great catch !:D Man we fish a shallow lake and these cold fronts have wrecked the fishing.:(

I went to Oklahoma for 5 days in hopes of catching myself a B-day crappie, I figured since everyone here forgot about my B-day I'd convert to the Oklahoma board where they sent me a total of 3 PM's saying happy B-day, haha. Good fishing, I caught a few last Friday morning before heading out for Oklahoma....there was snow on the ground (not the roads) and one went about 1.4 lbs...not too shabby, made a good sandwich for the road trip, cya.
