I'm going to give it a try tomorrow. Maybe I can find something fishable down the lake.

I was at colonel creek this morning the water was very muddy and 2-3 feet over banks but there wasn't much trash floating around . There was no crappie biting for me but I did manage two fish before quitting .
What’s the lower 3rd of the lake

Well we launched at the state park at 9 and was the only boat out. Had to clear logs off the ramp to launch!
Set up on fish about a mile up lake from the HH and had a very fat 27" striper in about an hour. Fought the wind till about 3 and called it in.
That fish was the only bite all day and there are LOTS of logs in the channel so be careful out there.
On a better note, I fixed my motor stalling problem by changing out the squeeze bulb in the fuel line. Cheap fix to a nagging problem.
Now I ought to start a new thread asking about care of deep cycle batteries!!
We call upper 1/3 from Cedar Creek to Dutchman Creek, middle 1/3 from Dutchman to Colonel Creek and then the lower 1/3 from Colonel Creek to Lake Wateree Dam
I like the way you have the divisions.
We was defiantly in the bottom third.
that's where I fish from November to march. Colder even more so.
Haven’t heard it called the HH since the days of Rango! He towed me in one day then invited me to go fishing with them. Had a big CC sea ark.
