Fished the Trent River on Sunday. Water temps were around 62*. Fish caught in 8 FOW or less. Was encouraged to see that the crappie have weathered the storm fairly well. Ended the day up with a limit and kept 15. Had several that were over a pound.
I fished a place where a gazebo/walkway was before the storm. It's now gone and I think I found part of it later on. Looks like fish have made it a home.

Good going Jack. Did you see much structure in the water that might be a navigation hazard? I'm sure a lot of stuff was deposited in the waterways like in your DI shot.
Dennis, I saw a number of trees sticking up in the main river. I'd assume as much traffic as there is up there, someone will clear them out at some point. With as much damage as there is to many of the houses, I'm guessing the river will be the last thing on those folks minds.
I didn't see a ton under the water though. Navigation will require a little more attentiveness than normally, but it doesn't appear to be extreme on the Trent side.

Man I really need to try the Trent. My sis lives on Madame Moores Lane between the Outback and Merchants so its right there when I visit.
