LOZ 11-5 thru 11-8

Stayed at crappiejoe12's cabin at the 3mm. Got a limit of specks the first two mornings slip corking minnows in the Gravois. I also threw the blue ice over brush for several fish. The rest of the time was spent bass fishing and I caught a lot of fish but nothing big. The best bite I found was in the very back of creeks/coves where the big gizzards were running in skinny water. The action was pretty good while working a YUM Houdini Shad at a faster pace. If I saw some flashes but no takers, I'd throw the blue ice and reel in a white bass. Another good option was skipping a Z-Man Pop Shadz under cat walks that had chunk rock. Pop, pop, twitch, let it sit, smack, big bass breaks me off, maybe a cuss word came out idk, on to the next dock. Pretty decent fishing all the way around.

Sounds like you had a great time. What depth were you catching the crappie in?

Deep water corking 6 to 10 feet down. The brush pile I fished was probably 15 feet deep and I had to bump something for a bite.
