Wiggled away at lunch because it was too pretty of a day for work.
Launched the kayak out of South Vacherie in undeveloped canals a bit after 1:30.
No bites in the canals but the Lac gave up a few pretty fish. Caught them on the road runner with a blue and white body.
Kept three plus a bass.

good catch ---- I thought all they had in that lake was catfish
Very similar to Lake Verret in just a bit less fishing pressure. Holds plenty good fish along with the millions of catfish.Quote:
