When life hands me a lemon I will put it in sweet tea!
Lately it seems like life has handed me a few lemons. Things haven't gone the way I expected or wanted them to. And, to be honest, it was getting me down. The other day my wife and I went to a restaurant to eat supper. After taking our order, our waitress turned to walk away. When she did I noticed these words written on the back of her shirt: "When life gives you a lemon, put it in sweet tea." The sweet tea adds sweetness to the lemon. My attitude is the sweet tea. My attitude changes how the lemon life has handed me can affect me. I then realized nothing could get me down unless I allowed it to. I walked away from that restaurant feeling much better. So, from now on when I can fish, I will fish; when I cannot fish I won't get down about it. In other words, when life hands me a lemon I will put it in sweet tea!
