Got to the water about 530 this am. Fake news said wind was 4-7mph. It was more like 15-20. Moved around to different spots no bueno. Caught one bass. GUESS I'll get em when I get back from Cali. Blessings

Same thing yesterday just not as bad called for a calm morning and I guess it was compared to this morning but was still about 10 +mph Be safe have a good trip!
We put in at Catoma around day light. Water was like glass when we got to our first spot. About twenty minutes later I’d say close to 10 mph winds. Ugh. Needless to say no fish.

Same thing happen yesterday at Madison County Lake, wind was forecast for 4 to 5 MPH, calm the first hour, then 10MPH plus the rest of the day.
I hate fishing when it's 95 degrees, but at least the wind is usually calm!:banghead
Same here wind was a challenge still caught a few small ones. Came home about 10:00 am
