I'm not one that can jump in boat and be fishing in less than an hour so I have to do a little planning. Yesterday the weather forecast was for wind 15 to 20 for today. I said "oh well time to do other things". Today while I am doing other things the wind is calm and a little fog around. I rather be on the lake. Are the fish paying the weather people?
Not windy here but even though the forecast was for rain this afternoon, it looks like it might come a gulley washer any minute. But can't go anyway. Maybe tomorrow or Saturday. But you might have something there--fish paying weather people.
It’s my belief they are vague so it seems they are right. I like using an app called Ventusky and guess for myself. It’s as good a guess as they do. Gives me an idea of where to plan to fish when the wind is at its worst.Attachment 320627Attachment 320629
Update. The wind is blowing hard here now. Couldn't have stayed on the water had I gone.
