Blackjack on the Sac River

Just curious if anyone knows much about the Sac River near the Blackjack access. Mainly if you can put a small boat in this time of year, and if it's worth fishing.

I know my bass boat is a no go, but I have a 14ft Alumacraft semi-v with a 25 Johnson that may be better suited.

Unless Stockton is running water there are riffles just below the ramp. You would probably not make it unless you can lift up on your motor to get back, if you plan on going down.

Thanks, sounds like a bad idea to try it with a heavy prop outboard.
